Lime Pineapple Salad recipe

Ingredients:

1 can (2 cups) of crushed pineapple.
1 packet of lime gelatin.
1 cup of grated American cheese.
1 cup of whipping cream.
½ cup of chopped pecans.
1 tablespoon of lemon juice.

Preparation Instructions:

In a suitably sized saucepan, bring the crushed pineapple to boiling.

Stir thoroughly so all of the pineapple is hot; then add the package of lime gelatin and remove from heat.

Stir until dissolved, then add the lemon juice.

Pour into a bowl and let chill in refrigerator until partially set.

Fold in the whipped cream and grated cheese, then add the chopped pecans.

Pour into serving bowl and chill in a refrigerator several hours or overnight.
